Driving alone at night, the mind starts playing tricks—familiar roads seem to shift, and you're no longer sure you took the right exit.
For Vidar Hagen, that feeling has lasted fifteen years. Every week he drives Route E6 through northern Norway, past the memorial to Kvitfjell—a mining town that collapsed in 2008, killing everyone inside. He was the last person to make a delivery there. The guilt rides with him in every mile.
But tonight, something changes. A woman in white appears in his headlights during a blizzard. Against every rule he's followed for two decades, he stops. She knows his name. She knows about the delivery. And when she tells him her name is Katja Rask—a name carved on the memorial stone—the impossible happens.
The road leads back. Back to March 14, 2008. Back to a town that shouldn't exist. Back to the moment when everything could still be saved.
Some choices echo across time until you find the courage to make them differently.
